TYPE: "A Native of Nicaragua; introduced by G.U. Skinner, Esq. A few pseudo-bulbs of this plant were sold at one of Mr. Skinner's sales, having been collected in Nicaraguay by Mr. Warczewitz", Warscewicz s.n. (holotype, K).
