TYPE: Costa Rica. [San José: Moravia,] San Jerónimo, 1350 m, blühend im Juni 1921, C. Wercklé 117 (holotype, B, destroyed; isotype, selected by Pupulin (2010) as the lectotype, AMES-28807; tracings of Schlechter’s drawings of the holotype, AMES).
