TYPE: Costa Rica. Puntarenas: roadside thickets and short side roads, along the PanAmerican Highway, ca. 10-15 km N of San Isidro, near Kms. 118-116, at the crossing of the Río Paymer, and N along the road from there, elev. ca. 1500-1600 m, occasional on open rocky slope, flowers green, 8 Aug 1981, C. Taylor 1152 (holotype, DUKE).
