Epidendrum tolimense Lindl., Edwards's Bot. Reg. 31: Misc. 66–67. 1845.

TYPE: New Grenada. This species forms part of Mr. Linden's rich collection. It was found in the forests of Tolima, 10,000 feet above the sea, J. Linden 1272 (holotype, K).
